I am close to getting a mr2t and would like to ask a few questions to the 3sgte gurus here......but first....a PIC!
![]() Anyways, its an sw21 with a sw20 jdm swap. It has a few mods, some cool, some....ehh. So here goes... 1. It has an HKS VPC/GCC....does that mean that I can run an atmospheric BOV and NOT backfire/run rich when I shift? 2. It has a LARGE (dont know what model) Precision turbo that doesnt spool till like 3.5k-4k rpms.....would YOU live with it, or swap for a ct20b or something else? 3. The turbo manifold is "4 bolt" (as the owner claimed). What turbos would bolt up to this if I did swap? |

hee-hee. Once you drive the car with the bigger turbo, you won't care about spool time. Remember, boost lag is usually a first gear issue. In terms of dig racing, of course.
