How do i tighten the nut on the top of the strut shaft withought the shaft moving?(KYB STRUTS)

Any input would be helpful! Thanks!

hmm i think i know what your talking about...heres what i did

place crowbar or similar shaped metal rod between any 2 of the 3 smaller surrounding bolts to anchor it and prevent it from rotating (i pushed mine into the grass for more support. then use a large socket wrench (i used a torque wrench) to tighten

I might try that, there has to be a better way. The top of the shaft has a hex like hole, I tried all the metric and standard hex wrenches but none of them fit correctly Here is a pic of what i'm talking about:IPB Image
