Any known hub assemblies that can be directly swapped onto our celicas so we have a better choice of used wheels?
Buying new wheels is a total waste(70% anyways), and 5x114 seem to be way more common. Alternateley, what do people think about adapters? Thanks! |

I wondered this exact same thing. i wanted 5x114 Knuckles so i went to the junk yard and i there was a 6gc with no Knuckle and camry which had the Knuckle removed. I took the camry knuckle to the celica and they are very identical but the camry knuckle is just a bit too big! the bolts are spaced wider and therefore would not fit into the lower control arm. Also, the two holes for the shock tower are also spaced wider. Sooo..... no dice, unless you can redrill those holes to fit the celica, but i wouldnt recomend it
i went with a wheel adaptor 5x100 to 5x114. they fit great i got them custom made at www.wheeladaptor.com hope that helped This post has been edited by eggman40: Jul 19, 2007 - 1:19 AM |
