 SRI Heat Shields, How can I make one? |

Just installed a custom SRI, how can I fabricate a heat shield?

You can start with a piece of cardboard and make a template out of it.
Then you can use aluminum plate or lay some glass on it. There is a write up on C.tech BTW, Heat shield is going to prevent your "filter" from radiant heat. However, the SRI still sucks hot air from engine bay. The best way is to do a cold air box and supply air from outside. -------------------- _Gary
