is there any way to make a rwd celica with a 3sgte engine and transmission swap in it???

there is no real guarentee that the GT4 will be a better starting platform
because we don't know if the GT4 rear diff will support the RWD setup. the final drive ratio has to be the same between the tranny and the rear diff. the most FEASABLE transmission for a RWD swap is W58 out of a supra w58 = # First Gear: 3.285:1 # Second Gear: 1.894:1 # Third Gear: 1.275:1 # Fourth Gear: 1.00:1 # Fifth Gear: 0.783:1 transfer case ratio has to = rear diff ratio... and if the GT4 oem rear isn't the same, well then you have to get some custom gears or new rear end (this i don't know how to figure out) This post has been edited by playr158: Jul 20, 2007 - 3:21 PM |
