How long do you leave your Turbo Timer on for after a standard run in the 6GC? Sometimes after an easy run i leave the car running for 2-3 mins and even then i hear it bubbling for a minute or two... I also come down a hill to my house which helps cool her down... just wanted your thoughts

Make sure the turbo timer is hooked up correctly so the cooling fans will come on! I have my cooling fans hard wired all the time through a switch. or you could just unplug the coolant temp switch on the radiator. My switch went bad and car was getting hot at idle.
I cool mine for at least 1 1/2 minutes. After a hot day of hard driving, 2 1/2-3 1/2 minutes. This post has been edited by toyotacrazy: Jul 21, 2007 - 6:45 PM |
