Im hoping to get new 18s from a friend in about a week or two, he currently has 225/35ZR18 but i want to replace the tires soon, he only has 70% on the front two and like 30% on the back.
I want the no-rubber look without breaking 100ea for the tires. in your opinion what is the best tire size? and is a 38+ offset good? thanks |

Definately.
Just compare it to the 17" guys. Example: Defgeph is finally convinced and driving with 45 side's now and most other people (finally) agree that 45 sides are better then the 40 sides for 17" Same goes for our 18" most people use 35 because its closest to the stock tyre. But there is enough room to bridge the gap between what the stock tyres give on speed on the road and what you drive on your speedo. The difference between a 225/45/17 and a 225/40/18 tyre is only 0.5 percent.
