Hey guys, Im kicking off my 3sgte project in april but I just had a thought. I have a totaled 5sfte sitting down stairs and I’ll be obtaining a 205 3rd gen clip…how hard is it to combine the two? I want to run the 2.2 block and the 3s head. My 5s had about 90k on it and I got it when it had 70…so im pretty sure its in good shape. What is needed and what needs to be done? I have a really good mechanic who would be willing to do the work providing its not like re inventing the wheel.

350whp? or 350HP on the motor by its self. Either way, your gonna run into a hell of a lot of problems. Look at Ichys car..hes pushing 320 on a fwd car with a stupid sized turbo and he broke a tranny, axels and blew his engine up. unless you got your self a bullett proof tranny and some stupid sticky tires and alot of $ laying around, i dont think your 350HP goal is gonna come.
if i were you, keep the 3rd gen motor and build it to some where in the 200s. If you want a 2.2L 3SGTE, and want lots of power coming out of it, buy one of the HKS or Blitz stroker kits...but just warning you, they are like $7-10K This post has been edited by Valo666: Jul 23, 2007 - 12:16 AM |
