So.... i bought the motor mount inserts from kirk hutchinson and the front one fit perfectly, but the rear one i cannot get in for the life of me. the polyurethane tabs that insert into th mount are to big and spaced out to far. it is an st rear mount that is supposed to be identical to the gt (same part number and everything) but i cant get it to fit. it fits into a different rear mount i have from a gt but i cannot use it becuse the center is completely ripped out of it. if anyone has any solutions that would be great. all i can think of is shaving some off but i dont know what kind of negative affects that would have if any.
thanks alot jaryd |

you have an auto. The A/T rear mount is different than M/T rear mount. Did you rear the post about these ? I covered it completely, see page 4 for pics
http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...39891&st=80 ![]() ^^ AUTO on left, MANUAL on right ![]() ^^MANUAL ![]() ^^AUTO you would need to swap in a M/T rear mount and then rig up your auto shifter cable to the new mount. -------------------- |
