 Newbie on 7afe, looking for some pointers towards 7afe ecu and parts |

I have been searching all day and am just getting more frustrated than anything. I purchased a '94 Celica for my son and am trying to get it up and running before he gets home from summer break. But the previous owner said the ECU was bad and that's all it needed to get going. So after ebay, trdparts4u and several thousand sites off of google for ecu's can anyone point me in the right direction to getting this puppy running.
Also, how hard is it to pull and rebuild these engines? Can anyone give me ideas on typical problems I am going to face with these models. Again I appreciate all the help, oh and I have already ordered my '93 accord cai off ebay as directed in other threads. thanks again. |

Ok so I have called I think every shop in the US and have a variety of options on ECU's.
Can anyone tell me if the ECU from the same year range Corrolla 7afe will work for the Celica 7afe or are there differences in programming? Thanks |
