I'm nearly finished with the swap. Just need to know if its necessary to get a new fuel pump and exhaust. I know its recommended, but I'd rather save some money and do it later. I've already spent 3800 and I dont want to spend anything I don't have to.

quick update - the stock ST pump failed around 16 psi - choked and fell on its face hard. Not sure what the fuel pressure was up to, but I'm using stock 3rd gen 3SGTE fuel pressure regulator - so by pressures 1lb per psi statement it would be around 61 lbs.

thanks for the update, scothaniel.
i'd appreciate it if you would make a new post about it, so we can sticky it by itself for future users.

BTW, its not just a statement, its a fact, taken right from the 3sgte BGB. wink.gif
