Im trying to remove the timing belt and dont wont to mess nething up so i not exactly sure of how to keep the pulleys from rotating....can ne1 show me pix or somthing to get it off....(engine is out of car and only thing on engine is timing belt and exhaust manifold)

can't think mate, but they will be keyed to the shafts though won't they? if you put a mark or tape on when they are still attached to the engine, then remove them they will only go back on in one position maybe?
not sure if they are just a key to secure them to the shaft or if they are a splined shaft? you could just make sure you have some easily viewable marks for the 12 oclock of the pulleys AND the pulley to the shafts. |
