MAP sensor? Options

Hello my 94 celica GT has gone from running *only* at idle to not firing at all it is dead in the water. I have checked for spark and fuel both are there. I even installed new fuel injectors with no luck. So I am wondering if the MAP sensor can act like this when it goes out?


-I tried reading the codes after changing the fuel injectors and what I got was constant blinking check engine light, which I don't believe means anything. Then I disconected the Map sensor and hooked it back up and tried to start the vehicle with no luck and did the code reading one more time. This time I got a 31 which I believe is related to the MAP sensor, now I don't know if I got the code because I had just disconnected it and hooked it back up or if it is the problem???? ANy thoughts....




-Also they are very expensive so I was hoping to pick up a test sensor or two out of a junkyard, now I need to know what years and models of vehicles Toyota made that would have this same sensor? I know I won't find any 94 celicas in our junkyard, maybe a few of there trucks?????? THanks guys

sorry if i insulted........just you know if your gonna ask for help then listen to our advise dont just post two of the same topics and asking for help then just going off doing things you dont understand...........post wait listen check....again simple math........but im sorry to insult....just dont ask for help if you wont take our help......im not sure but i think your contredicting yourself for example..............car wont start whats wrong? (then you answer your ownself) i think its the spark plugs......nope i put in new spark plugs still wont start, any help what do you guys think? (then again you answer your ownself) i think its the injectors, what do you think? i really dont wanna spend that much tho.......nope not the injectors just replaced thoses, car still wont start, what do you guys think?...ect ect.......................................

anyway do you see what i am saying....do not ask for help if your just gonna give urself random answers and not listen to ours.............sorry for the insult i dont mean to be rude to a fellow 6gen celica owner.............ur not the first iv did this too ....iv made a few angry with me because i got so mad when they asked for my help i gave my help and they wouldnt take it. but again im sorry.....g/f says i need anger managment
