It helps keep the heat away from the pump! theres really no point to that being the meth in the water/meth mix turns cool as its being flowed through the pump which acts and a cooling to the pump maybe not the motor. but you shouldnt mount a pump to something that far at the end of the frame anyways. it has much greater chances of being damaged in a minor accident. -------------------- 94' ST Coupe - 5sfe Motor swap and brake swap.
