 Throttle getting stuck slightly open |

Ok, here's whats going on. After using the gas pedal, when I disengage the clutch, sometimes my RPM's stay up anywhere from 1500 to 3500. If I just tap the pedal, it goes back down to normal idle speed. I figured my cable or something in the throttle body was getting worn out. With the car off, I went and messed with the throttle from inside the engine bay, and it was perfectly fine. With the engine on, I can feel the resistance. I sprayed WD40 on the TB, that did nothing. I checked to see if the cruise control was messing with it, and nope. So now I come to you 6gc. What's going on?

could be the part by the pedal thats stiff, road salt and water tracked in off your boots, old grease, or it could be a kink in the cable, a rusted cable, etc.
