anyone tried putting an house amp & sub & speakers in a car?, with digital inputs Options

has any one try this before? Im thinking of putting a logitech 5.1 channel suround speakers with TXH ceritified in my car ...it has digital inputs so im going to try to make a toslink cable hooking it with the clarion hxd2. But that will leave 8 channels preouts useless...argh

...should i go with digital and ditch all the sound filters like time alignment and x-over and such or should i go with the preouts???

You have a Clarion HXD2 so you better get a pretty damn good system for it . The HXD2 is a fine piece of equipment.

Airfron, he is talking about Logitech speakers which are PC computer speakers or home prepackaged speakers from how I read it, correct me if wrong. Home audio drivers are ok to use in cars.

right now im pretty much broke... thats why im thinking of putting these in first and when i have money i'll buy the right components for it..the logitech z-680 isnt so bad, was the best pc 5.1 in 2002. I dunno if i can even mount the speakers,maybe i have to use the old oem ones...
