well i got a yellow sticker for it!!!
its because --> bluelights at the back license, oil leaks and shaking at idle...i need to go over the pit really soon and i havent got a clue why it shakes. I was thinking the alternator but apparently thats not it (or so i think), not the idle control valve either, took it to my mechanic and he doesnt have a clue!!!!! The weird thing is though when cold it doesnt shakes, only shakes when the car is warm. ![]() I already changed the light colour and cleaned up the oil in the engine compartment, im not gonna fix the oil leaking(Im assuming its leaking from the timing belt area and the rea main seal) as it requires take whole engine out and i just dont have time for that..but im stumped at the shaking prblem.. Can anyone help me on this?? This post has been edited by lubu: Aug 8, 2007 - 10:42 AM -------------------- ![]() 98% completion --- aaRon |

You need to calm down man. LoL. No, you do not need an air temp or volume meter. And I'm pretty sure the shaking isn't an air problem. Even if your car was to take in hot or cold it shouldn't be shaking like that. It might be possible that something flew into your engine when there was a crack causing it to studder. The problem can be just a coincedence with your timing of intake changing and turns out ot be worse. Honestly, the only thing I could think of is to diagnose your car. Turn on the car, let it warm up, and rev it from the throttle cable and see what it does. Try to look for any unfamiliar noises like clunking and knocking.
