hello I have a 1995 5sfe with a duel cold air intake a thomas racing chip and in a few days ill have two electric turbos so all in all im pushin close to or a little more than 200 hp carzy huh? anyway I was told I could swap my 5sfe head with the 35gte head is that true?will it give me more hp or will I lose hp with it being a 2.0?what about my cam gears dont the 3sgte run off two and the 5sfe run off one?what modifacations will I have to do to have the head put on my car any and all advice will be more than helpfull yeah before I forget will I have to get 3sgte throttle body spacers or 5sfe spacers Im getin spacers soon?

Lol dude, i think your along way from 200HP...
Im no expert but even I know that adding racing chips, dual CAI (prolly no difference than a single), and electronic turbos are all pretty much "gimmics". Yes they do say that they add HP. But if you read about them they will say that they guarantee that they "CAN add UP TO"...I HIGHLY doubt you will be anywhere near 200hp. All the racing chip does is throw more fuel into the motor so your mpg goes down. Will that give you more hp? Theoretically yes. A dual CAI giving you more hp than a single? probably not, just get a bigger pipe and go with a single...And as far as the electric turbos go...A fan that pushes the air into the motor, again, in THEORY this SHOULD give your more hp. will it really? i doubt it... -------------------- ![]() |
