Did a quick search, but couldnt find the answer I'm looking for. Sorry if I missed it.
I'm looking at replacing my alt, but dont know which one I should be looking for. Car is a 98 chassis with a jdm 93 mr2 engine. I know the mr2 mounting brackets are different from the 5sfe's, but is the actual part different? When I call the shop should I be asking for an alt for a 98 celica (5sfe motor) or for a 93 mr2? i took my 96 celica 5s alt and fabbed it to fit my g/f's 3s mr2 motor. i swapped plugs and had to drill out the bottom bib hole to 3/4" for fitment purposes
