So I just installed a black TRD boost gauge - looks sooo sexy. I love it, but holy crap it gets hot... as in heat-hot. I'm pretty sure I wired everything correctly, but when I touch the bezel or clear face of the gauge, it's really hot. Is this normal? if not, what could it be?
EDIT: it's a mechanical gauge, if it matters. This post has been edited by JoKeRkId613: Aug 12, 2007 - 12:42 PM -------------------- ![]() |

if its mechanical then its got the vacuum pipe going to it as well. Not felt mine though but hot turbo air from the vac pipe would probably be heating the inside mechanism up too.
I would say its cos the lights on all the time though. |
