 any problems with 2.5" full exhaust, on an ST? |

So my next project for the celi is to do full exhaust. The only headers i could find that fit my budget are all 2.5" o/d.
So i was thinking to avoid reversion i would just do a 2.5" catback as well, that arose questions. Many people on this site say 2.5" is too big for the st. But why? does it pop or sound bad? Hurt performace? What are the pros/cons of a 2.5" full exhaust? Thanks!

Most say for N/A you want to keep 2.25 however 2.5 will be fine. Majority use 2.5 for turbo 7a/5s.
With larger exhaust on N/A you lose some back pressure to help your low end power. With a gas saving 7a I doubt you will notice. -------------------- |
