 Advanced Timing: Good or Bad? |

Hey guys I got an NA ST 7afe n i was just wondring about advancing my timing. I know that you can gain some hp in the wheels, but is it good for the car? Also, how exactly can u advance your timing? Can a local shop do it for you? Does fuel octane have a minimum for maximum power? Thanks in advance! haha

yea was thinking about doing this too, i know that timing lights are ~$50 and its not hard too do yourself, but thats all i know...
