Just kinda curious of the opinions with those who listen to the "dance oriented" side of music? I've found it harder to find new stuff out there that really catches my attention that has a fresh sound... I feel as things are shifting towards the old school sound almost (disco, electro hooks), but I could be crazy... Consensus?

Well over this side of the pond, the last 12 months have been all about minimal (which i hate) and electro (some of which i really like) but it now seems to be shifting back towards funky house at the moment. It'll always be trance though for me. There have been a few decent tracks out this year, but nothing like say 5 years ago  What DJ's are big in the States? What sort of music do you like? I'm going to Ibiza in 3 weeks so i'll have a better idea of where things are going. Can't wait  And tonight it's Eddie Halliwell, a crazy hard trance scratching lunatic  sweet.
