Saw DJ Eddie Halliwell at Syndicate in Blackpool last night.
OMFG! Awesome, the guy really knows how to create an atmosphere. I've seen hundreds of sets from the likes of Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, etc. etc. and this guy tops the lot. If any of you like dance music at all and get the chance to see him DO IT! you won't be disappointed! Check the video out, worth watching to the end, the guy crowd surfs! ![]() Some pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() my mate took this video, i was losing it on the dancefloor -------------------- |

QUOTE(zachattack15 @ Aug 19, 2007 - 8:03 PM) Jumping up and down is dancing? You clearly dont know anything about Techno/Dance/Trance @manphibian: Its to small a crowd for me to really "taste" a ambience. Watching/Listening 30.000 people going crazy because a DJ puts Flight 643, Adagio for Strings or Lethal Industry on give's me goosebumps everytime. Just look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxVd13XEa0g Or trying something new like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yoTPmQbHbY Nuff said. Tiesto is the best out there along with his fellow Dutch Dj's like Ferry Corsten, Erick E, Armin van Buuren, Marco V, Sander Kleinenberg. But I must say that the Quality of Tiesto is going downwards -------------------- JDM Powerplant installed, BPU coming very soon!

That club is actually one of the biggest clubs in the uk, that room had around 6,000 people in it, here's another pic:
![]() And i agree that Tiesto's tracks are amazing, but anyone can play his tracks, not just him. He has hardly any crowd interaction in his sets, He doesn't seem to put that much effort in, Eddie Halliwell really gets into it. You really should go see him, you'd love his sets. Here's another video, he has a lot more technical ability than Tiesto, you can't deny that? http://youtube.com/watch?v=sf1B0qO4bXs and the others you mentioned, i agree. I am going to Ibiza in 3 weeks and i will see Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, Marco V, Sander Kleinenberg, Sander van doorn and many more EDIT: and from your first clip, Tiesto is a TERRIBLE dancer I agree he was the greatest dj in the world a few years ago, but he hasn't really moved on and has been overtaken recently. Puts on a good show though This post has been edited by manphibian: Aug 19, 2007 - 1:46 PM -------------------- |
