Hi all, I rarely use the air con or fans in my car as i like opening windows instead.
One sunny day (a rare occasion in UK), I turned on the climate control/air con and it was on full blast. I was smacked in the face by bits of grey foam pieces from each of the vents. I guess these 'bits' just perished with age. I am wondering if I should replace these - do they do anything special, is it worth repairing? Has anyone done these before - if so, how do you do it? -------------------- ![]() san0.:GT-SS2:. |

not to worry, if i am correct they are only lineing around the outsside/behind the vent to keep it stable when positioned....with age they deteriate and break apart...happens with every car so i wouldnt worry about it at all.....good luck even trying to find them things...you would prolly have to take them off of another car and that would be more of a hassel then anything
