 help plz evil stock suspension |

Well i finally got around to putting on my stechs and my kyb's today. Well i started atleast.
Is the top bolt on the struts saposed to move the whole strut? I cant seem to get it off because when i try to take it off, the silver metal piece in the middle of the strut moves with it, along with the cap. Surely theres a trick to it or something XP. put the suspension back on the car. attach the top 3 nuts to hold the assembly in. (no need to do the bottom)
loosen the large center bolt first till you have a few threads left. remove from car you should be able to pop it off pretty easy from this point. just be careful the spring = potential energy, when the nut comes off it will go POP...and shoot the nut ~12 inches away. |
