 help plz evil stock suspension |

Well i finally got around to putting on my stechs and my kyb's today. Well i started atleast.
Is the top bolt on the struts saposed to move the whole strut? I cant seem to get it off because when i try to take it off, the silver metal piece in the middle of the strut moves with it, along with the cap. Surely theres a trick to it or something XP. yea i know that part, your's probably slipped outta its slot.
the shaft @ the top isn't a full circle where the threads are its more like a "D" shape so that it seats into the tophat and doesn't spin. since yours is spinning (like OEM VW) you'll need air tools/electric impact to get it off, or figure out how to get it seated back correctly. |
