Hello everyone,

I'm considering selling my 98 Celica GT. Here's a little info about it. It's a 5 speed transmission, leather interior is in great shape. A little wear on the drivers side seat but not much. The car has 76k miles on it currently. This summer I spent around 4000 dollars on redoing the exterior of the car. The car was repainted in the last week of July so the paint is still very fresh and the car looks great.

Exterior mods include:
-Shaved Antenna
-Shaved Rear Wiper
-TRD Sideskirts
-TRD rear splitters
-Gt-four Front bumper
-Gt-four Hood
-Gt-four spoiler (molded into one piece)
-Rear Visor
-JDM tails
-JDM fenders with clear side indicators

The tires are Fulda's I don't have the exact specs on them but they are pretty new with <10k miles on them I would say. The only interior modifications I have done is I relocated the battery to the trunk with the kit from Summit Racing and I have a Sony headunit with a monster audio cable running into the center console for hooking up my iPod.

I'm looking for serious offers only. The car is in excellent shape inside and out and is bone stock performance wise and in the interior. I paid 8000 for the car in January and have put ~4500 dollars into the car since then.

Anyway, if anyone's curious this is the reason I'm selling. I just joined a band and now I'm driving back and forth from Raleigh to my hometown every weekend and I feel terrible putting so many miles on this car. I also am scared to keep it parked on campus because I think that someone is going to eventually vandalize it. I am going to get something a little less nice for a few years. I need something that I can drive and not worry about anything. I've also sort of lost interest in modifying my car and have re-evaluated my priorities and decided I am spending way too much money on this car. I'm going to look into an early 90s Camry/Corolla or Civic possibly.

I did all of the bodywork myself as far as shaving and prepping the car for paint. I had the holes welded shut by a friend and then I filled in the rest of the hole with bondoglass. The paint is still relatively fresh I had the car painted by Maaco. The paint job was just shy of 1600 dollars. I had all the prepwork done myself and brought the car stripped to them. Don't hate on Maaco, they did a great job.

Fog lights are GT-Four Fogs. I'll take some interior pics on Friday. I'm in classes all day tomorrow so I don't think I will have time.

Asking price is 10k. I'm not in a hurry to get rid of it but I'm willing to negotiate as well.
