I have a 3s swap and was wondering if i needed the AFM for the motor to run? The AFM and the plug that goes into the AFM doesn't match up.

That's an igniter plug... It can be modified to fit the RC AFM. You should have two plugs on your harness that look similar to that one. Make sure to plug the AFM into the one that is going to VC, E2, and VS on the ECU. Do not plug it into the one going to +B, IGT and IGF, that one is for the igniter.
What are the part numbers for the Igniter, ECU, and AFM? --------------------  Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |
