 Vacation to the USA, Got tips on car rental and/or places to visit? |

Me and my girlfriend are going to visit the US for the first time in September. We'll be arriving september 16th on San Francisco. Our plan is to stay there a couple of days, then rent a car and head south. We're supposed to fly back on october 3rd.
Any tips on car rental companies and what vehicle to get? We're gonna be cruising a lot! Wish I could drive my GT-Two over there in the states  Also, tips on sites and places to visit would be much appreciated. National parks are on the list. Maybe Las Vegas too! Looking forward to it! |

Yep. But think we have to drive east to visit some of the sights along the way.
Hmmm... down the coastline or drive to Yosemite national park and Las Vegas?
