The 205 is far better.

standard 205s run 250-280hp, standard 185s are a fair bit lower 180-220hp

Main improvements to 205:

Revised sump and baffling - to include engine/gearbox bracing
Revised oil system - pressure regulator and oil pump
Revised head - shim under bucket, different exhaust cam
Revised intake manifold - junks TVIS, different sized entry ports, larger throttle body
Different pistons - different material and CR
Metal head gasket
Fuel system - Larger injectors, different fuel rail
Management - better ECU, ditched AFM (hurrah!)
Turbo - bigger and runs more pressure
Revised intercooling - back to WTA system, with a dump valve
Revised PCV system - catch can fitted with drain
