Hi, I've finished my swap and i'm riding my engine for the beginning not over 5k rpm. The problem is that I read on the gauge only 7 or 8 psi... is the boost higher in higher rev?? I have no any code on the computer so this is apparently not the f&$% code 54 ...
My engine: ST185RC JDM with no modification (stock bov, stock intercooler) Thanks!! |

My engine: ST185RC JDM with no modification (stock bov, stock intercooler) Thanks!! no. it should hit 10-12 above 2500-3000 rpm. What size exhaust are you running? Is your car warming up completely? It sounds like your in safe/low boost mode. Also, make sure your gauge is accurate. I was trying to diagnose a boost issue for a long time. I had the boost issue and the gauge was reading low. Make sure when the engine is off the gauge reads 0 psi. |
