Im just curious if any one has ever gone to another country to teach english as a second language? One of my friends and her sister have both done it *my friend in Mexico and her sister in Japan, China, Thialand and Korea*, and i was wondering what company you have gone through to get your certificate. Also, if you have any stories, or wanna shed some insight on what its like *the culture shock, living in another country, speaking another language, the job, the pay, etc*, that would be great. Sarah and i are looking into it for when we finish up school in about a year and a bits time.

There are a lot of companies that arrange these trips... Maybe take a chat with your school, and they will probably help you out ( I'm just assuming )
The best practice is to go to a foreign country and speak it every day, and the best way to prevent any " shock " is to learn a little about the actual location you are planning to go to, read about religios views, cultural-things and just basic behaviour. :=) |
