Man, I went to maaco to get a quote on a paint job on a 4 piece body kit(not the whole car) and to remove a SLIGHT dent in my door he definatley quoted $1100!!! I luaghed and said thanks but no thanks. Id rather buy 30 cans of spray paint and a Ding King and call it a day.
 Just a heads up, they wanted blood.

How is spending $2-3k (I got quoted from a private shop) on a paintjob define me as placing more value in a car than a house? I hope you know houses cost a BIT more than $2-3k and if even $5k is going to discourage you from buying a house, then, perhaps you should get a better job than at McDonalds.... ...then again, perhaps you were exaggerating, in which case I really hope you are...
