I had my balanced tires completely bald - 0% tread left, wire was showing - and i swapped them out with some tires i had in my backyard with good tread that i just swapped on my car. i just found out this set of tires with tread are unbalanced. they have no weights at all. the reason im using this temporary fix is because i just got in an accident cause of my bald tires and am waiting for the dealer to fix my car before i put the brand new tires on. so i put on the unbalanced tires and am planning on driving the car till tuesday. how bad is this for my car and am i better off with these unbalanced tires with tread or the zero traction balanced tires? thanks.

avoid high speed 60+ mph driving if you can as the vibration may make other things wear faster, its more of a comfort thing, if your just going to limp the car around town on them i cant see a problem, highways though.... i dont think anything would break, but it will wear parts faster and may also make some new mysterious creeks and such in your cabin from the added vibration

x2. I would limp it. Depending on how much they are out of balance, the wobble / shake could be pronounced.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
