Any opinions on all these manufacturers coming out with the mods already done to the car. Scion's new tc has the TRD sport suspension and other TRD mods already factory. Kinda takes the fun outta modding...just my opinon.

toyota has seen the market for customization and made it so people can buy their car and customize it straight out of the dealer, paying more for just a little bit more crap. people like making their cars unique so of course they're not going to keep their car stock. nobody keeps their car stock.
people also know that alot of custom applications void a warranty somewhere, so by ordering straight from the people who make the car, it will be covered as well. it is also more reliable driving an out the door faster car than a base model and souping it up. countless hours of research by hundreds of people went into producing a tuned car ready for sale. if you start customizing your base car with individual parts from different suppliers, no individual company can tell you exactly how much your car will benefit from only their product because they just cant test every possible combination. -------------------- ![]() |
