what i have noticed with neon strut bar Options

well, i just recently bought a neon strut bar off of ebay...came to like $18 and wasnt to happy with it when i first got it because i had to pre fab my own 3 holes...none lined up at all....but anyway i got it taken care of and it fit nice and snug....it's actually quite nice and it looks good in the engine bay.....anyway...after puttin it on and driving around with it for a while now i noticed the car is much tighter...so much that i cant take turns as fast as i use to because my @ss end is kickin out...never noticed this before i put it in.....so now im thinkin do i take it back out because it was better with it out and i could stay into the turn?? or do i get either a rear sway bar or a rear strut bar to cancle the front one out.....has anyone noticed or fixed this problem who has had one of these strut bars put in may it be a trd front strut bar or just a regular neon one?? im defentally gettin somethin in the @ss end but would a sway bar be too much or can a rear strut bar fix the problem? also where to go to get a rear strut bar if that is the case? i had a big bag of sement put in the back of my car too and that help fix the problem with the extra weight back there but i dont want to lug that around with me all the time...any sugestions? thanks

lmao @ a bag of cement. all you did was make your car slower, you didn't increase handling abilities..
WEIGHT is something you SHAVE to increase the ability of a car to handle...physics 101 inertia > you

your car isn't tight enough from a neon bar to make the butt come out....
it would actually make your FRONT slide out more...NOT your rear.
(FYI a ebay neon bar doesn't really do jack, they aren't stuff and flex a decent amount under pressure)

you just have a poor setup resulting in poor car feed back.

what tires are you running?
what are your tire pressures at?
when was the last time you got an alignment?

lol this dude^^ im not worried about my car being a tenth slower because i have extra weight in the back....all celicas are slow unless its a gt4 or you have tons of money dumped into them...i have came to this conclusion a long time ago....your making an ass out of your self when you say extra weight doesnt help....lets step out of the import feild for a second and go to muscle cars....i know everyone who owns a muscle car makes sure that they have a bare minium of weight in the ass end of the car..NOT...you want as much weight back there as possiable untill you hook up and are able to launch....for instance an el camino...with just the bed a elcamino will never be able to hook up...the tires are just gonna spin caus theres absoulty nothin back there to keep them from grabbin....so what do you do?? welln your case you would take the tail gate off...tail lights and anything else you could prolly find...which blows my mind....in my case i would want to throw a couple hundred pounds of cement, 1/4 " sheet metal....anything that has some weight to it so my tires can grab....i can understand the concept of shaving weight to go faster but your not gonna go anywhere if your tires dont hook up...not a mater of inertia bud...more of a matter of common sense....why do you think go-carts handle so good? caus they have no weight in the back? there 1" off the ground and there ass end doesnt swing out caus they have a 100+ rider sittin on it plus the weight over top the wheels from the engine...imangine a gocart with no rider and the engine being in the front....and its remote control....try takin in around a turn as fast as you would if you were drivin it and come back and tell me your results...my point exactly

Im sorry I insaulted your inteligent idea of adding a bag on cement to the trunk of your car in order to help with stability. Your right, it was a brilliant idea and im just upset I that I was fooled for so many years that I had to do real modifications to my car to get resaults like that. Please, dont let me get in the way of you spreading the word of the power of cement. I dont want to step on your toes but maybe if you put bricks under your hood it would help with the understeer also. Just a thought.

I dont recall saying it was an inteligent idea but it was an equalizer and more so it actually worked....do some homework befor you give me a smart ass remark.
