I think my car is running a bit rich , the exhaust has alot of soot or carbon or whatever and when i start it in the morning there is a really heavy smell of gasoline coming out of the exhaust that only goes away after about 20 minutes of driving ... how do it tune the engine to fix this ?

since i haven't got any answer for this lonely question , i tried looking things up and all that i can conclude is that the OE type has the electrical plug and the Universal comes without it ...... is that the only difference ? and if it is then what is the best way to connect the plug to the wire in a way that will last ?
