I want to put some rear speakers in my car, since the previous owner took them out, and was wondering how to go about doing that. I don't see any how-to's for it, so what panels need to be taken off, what size are they, and is there any custom work necessary?

I replaced my rear speakers without taking out the seats at all. I just removed the speaker grill, took out the one long screw that holds the panel in, removed the screw at the back where the seat latches, and pulled the panel away from the side. I had tons of room to get a socket wrench in there and remove the entire bracket.
I replaced my rear speakers with 5 1/4's though so I had to fab a bracket which takes a bit longer but is far from difficult. -------------------- ![]() |

And as far as the bracket goes, there is some guy that sells nice brackets for like 6 a pop or somethin. pretty cheap ![]() ![]() -------------------- |
