 help plz evil stock suspension |

Well i finally got around to putting on my stechs and my kyb's today. Well i started atleast.
Is the top bolt on the struts saposed to move the whole strut? I cant seem to get it off because when i try to take it off, the silver metal piece in the middle of the strut moves with it, along with the cap. Surely theres a trick to it or something XP. if the top of the strut isnt lined up with the mount its gonna keep spinning, there is a shape you gotta fit in...looks like [)
