 help plz evil stock suspension |

Well i finally got around to putting on my stechs and my kyb's today. Well i started atleast.
Is the top bolt on the struts saposed to move the whole strut? I cant seem to get it off because when i try to take it off, the silver metal piece in the middle of the strut moves with it, along with the cap. Surely theres a trick to it or something XP. I got mine out with an impact gun. if try other methods and still cant get it off, as a last possibility, i would look for the nearest shop that has an impact gun, have them break it loose... then tighten it a little bit with a ratchet, then slowly drive the car home. WHen you get home you should now be able to just break it loose with your ratchet. then take it back for them to tighten it with the gun again.
