Hey everyone.
I'm gonna get the alarm in the mail soon and i want to know what wires i need to tap into.

My 1st question is: where do u guys drill the hole for the red blinking light? i want a place where it wont affect my car much if the alarm burns out.

2: do i need a diode for the alarms un/lock door wires. (so when i'm in the car and i push the button to lock the doors it wont burn my alarm) yup i have power locks already. the box says"Door Locks & Parking lights Built-In Relays" confused.gif

3: the brake light thing. i was reading a post b4 and it mentioned a wire at the tail-light fusebox. where is that? and how do i attach that? cwm13.gif

4: what wire (color and location) is the parking light relay, so the lights blink 4 the alarm.

5: this alarm has remote start. the box says "Built-In Start Relays,Accessories,Ignition,Starter Outputs" so what wires do i need to play with ( coomer?) yea i never did this remote start installation b4. and dont worry i have an automatic tranny.

6. I'm thinking about installing a proximity senor with this car. so i can leave my windows down while its infront of my house. where should i mount it?

well that is about it. thanks in advance. i just need to know what these wires look like and where they are at. smile.gif

Here are the follow ups on the car alarm installation.

Well, the installation went slow and ruff bcuz i had some wire problems. But in all, it works, the door locks and unlocks, the car starts, and the hood pin is working great, and the kill starts is performing the way it should. i had run into a slight problem though, the shock sensor is not working anymore, its like there is no power to it, the LED's doesn't even light up anymore. I check the wiring from the unit to the sensor, and it appears to be connected. So tomarrow i'm gonna rip the whole system out again and double check my wireing. that is the only way i could see how to fix this problem.

BTW What are the wires for the windows, to go down. i can't find them, i read the artical at the12volt.com, its just said its red, and red+blue. Are these wires negative triggered, or does it require 12 volts. I want to use the trunk pop aux to lower my windows.
