well i had *originally* (and probably still for alot of cars) not wanted to spend more than 2500. i know before you wanted more than that for yours, and that's understandable if it's still in the same condition it was before.

i'm thinking i can get around $4k or so. to be honest i just really want to get something around here, and i remember when i saw yours it looked like the way i would have done the car. my 87 celica gt is kind of....well, i haven't put money into it, because it is a rust bucket. the latest thing that has happened was my exhaust rusted in half. so it's embarrassing to drive, and the cops are not so friendly with that sort of stuff in my area. so i really don't like driving it. hence the heavy search for another car. it can just be hard to find a nice celica around here sometimes...and your just an hour or so away.

i've had about 4-5 cars with agreed upon times to come and buy it (when even sellers claimed they didn't have a time sooner) who then sold it the day before i came down. so needless to say, i'm ready to be done with it, and have something in good shape to drive to school and work.
