I am about to remove the engine on my 5f. I disconected everthing. all wires are on top of engine now.
Do I need to completely remove the axles before I pull the engine out? This post has been edited by y2komar: Sep 25, 2007 - 11:04 PM -------------------- ![]() |

5s is a breeze. just bag all nuts and bolts n crap and label the sensor clips....you may remember now but not when you put it back together...trust me. also don't forget that stupuid engine ground on the back of the intake manifold...w/o that connected your car will turn over but not fire. first time i did one i dropped it through the bottom cuz i didn't have a hoist. but now i got one and it's way easier through the top. unclip the connectors and hoses first and undo the motor mounts and bam it's done.
