So I installed the ST205 shifter cables I had on order, and it appears that the metal cup on the right cable that snaps onto the bottom of the interior shifter assembly is way too big. Is this really so?

The clip on either side even passes right around the ball on the end of the stock shifter, which really suprised me as to how much larger the ST205 cup is than the ST204.

Does anybody have any answers as to how they made it work on their stock shifter?? I'm really suprised...and I'd prefer to not have to McGuyver it into working. I searched up and down on multiple sites and I haven't heard a single other person mention this issue...very odd, unless I'm having a blonde moment or something.

Thanks ahead of time. smile.gif
