alrights guys, as some or most of you know... our doors hold an 8 inch slot with either a 6.5" speaker in a custom metal bracket or an 8 inch stock sub (8 speaker premium package)... today i successfully swapped out my destroyed stock 8 inch subs for some brand new Memphis 15-ms84 mclass subs with 100watts RMS/ 200 watts peak power (10x that of stock)... pics are included...and they are in the car and do clear the windows and all... now hopefully we can compile a list of all 8 inch subs that do fit in the hole.... and pics of such subs... i know many have tried and many have succeeded but some have failed in the sub being either too deep or too thick through the magnet region... some modification is needed for all the subs but nothing a pair of pliers can't do.... so here's my pics and at the bottom is the beginning of the list smile.gif

EDIT: I ALSO WANT TO ADD THIS... MANY MANY PEOPLE HAVE ASKED ME ABOUT THIS SO HERE IT IS:

These are the 6.5" to 8" and 5.25" to 8" high quality plastic adapters for new aftermarket front speakers smile.gif

yeah, was meaning 50-300hz region but as long as you are happy and gives the result you want. I was just coming from the sound quality kind of perspective and 8inch midbass drivers are just awesome for midbass biggrin.gif. Use subwoofer for sub-bass.

One cheap example of a 7" midbass that will kick you in the chest and not sound uncontrolled.
