My girlfriend and I went skydiving a couple weekends ago, it was definitely one of the coolest things I have ever done. It was what she wanted to do for her birthday. We had to take a class first and then did a static line jump from 3000 feet. Four more and we can do a freefall from 10,000 feet, I can't f'ing wait for that

Supersprynt: It depends on the route you want to take. To do the solo static line jumps we had to take a course that was about 4 and a half hours first. To do the tandem jump you only have training for under an hour since the instructor is strapped to your back. I was googling a little bit and I think it is the same in New York, it just depends on what company you jump with and the equipment setups they have.
1 2 The company in the first link there has the static line course, but I don't think the second company does. I am definitely encouraging everyone I know to go do this. -------------------- ![]() We shall show mercy, but we shall not ask for it. |
