So i FINALY just got my neo installed, and i was just kinda messin around a bit and my cars running stupid rich. I was wondering if some one out there has a basic fuel map for a 5s that will get her running right. Right now it bogs around 2000rpm, and its pretty much spittin raw fuel out the tail pipe. Im new to the whole fuel mapping thing and my buddy who was suppost to tune mine went to florida for 3 weeks yesterday and didnt tell me he was leaving. Any ways, if some one can gimme some settings like the diff rpms and scales that would be awsome.
*hint hint dustin* thanks Bryan |

QUOTE(Valo666 @ Oct 2, 2007 - 9:46 PM) im pickin one up when im in toronto on the weekend. The weird thing is, when i first started it up, it was running like a bag of sh!t, so i went and checked to make sure the sensors were working, check..every thing was fine. Clicked the initialize button by accident, every thing went back to stock, and now the car runs perfectly. My buddy is coming over tomorrow to help out. did you set your car up correct in the Etc menu? you have to choose the type of sensor, how many cylinders you have, etc... before it will work correctly. if your car is bogging down, and running rich, then there is a good chance it needs a new o2 sensor. trying to "tune" that out, would be a very bad idea. the safc is cheap, and super easy to use, but keep in mind that its a very powerful tool. trying to guess settings just based off the ButtDYNO can lead to a blown motor very quickly. you need to get a wideband (or dyno time) and make sure you have 93 octane gas in there. then you can take a look at the fuel curve and make corrections. be sure to always make the smallest correction possible to get the job done. any negative values lead to timing advance, also... so you have to be very careful with that. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
