I just got done testing my mpg thinking it might be crappy since I read the 5s-fe runs rich and plus with the car being 'round 12 years old, but I was joyfully surprised to see I'm running 29+mpg city. (with ac running sometimes and having a heavy foot)
Just something to make me love my car alittle more, since I expected 24-. I'm curiouse though since I want to either add a turbo or swap to a 2nd gen 3sgte as to what my mpg would turn out to be. Who on here with either a 5s-fte or a 3s-gte swap (or the very few who have a 5s-gte) checked your mpg? Just really curious. (even if you don't have one of these set-ups you can still post your mpg ![]() -------------------- ![]() CLOSED on 25 acres! -shop coming soon.... |

city driving with lots of boosting at 15psi = 19mpg
city driving with lots of boosting and AC = 15mpg (owned) highway driving = never really checked, but i would guess about 25mpg if i just cruise Boost = priceless QUOTE(Valo666 @ Oct 4, 2007 - 10:25 PM) wait...how many gallons is our tank?? if you try to divide by our tank size, then you wont get a correct mpg. you have to divide by how many gal it took it you fill it back up to full.
