hey man i have had 3 diffrent types of intakes on my 95 st...1st i did a short ram, cold air, and ive also used just a filter on the throttle boddy..from my experiance the short ram sounds the best its a deep growl power gains wore resonable...the cold air seemd to give more hp at higher rmps than the short ram but the short ram seemded to get up off the line faster than the cold air..more tourqe than hp. last having the filter right on the end of the throttle body seemded to be were u would get the best response were ever the rpms were n had its own sounds.....just depends if ur looking for higher rpm gains to pull harder or more tourqe for getting off the line and up to speed faster...
